Information for Clubs wishing to run events
Please check the calendar on this page to see if the date you want is available. Where at all possible, we do not allow clashes of dates within our Zone, or with PCV State events. It is advisable at this stage to also consider what other events are running that may clash with your event. You can do this by checking websites such as JustGo, Event Secretary and the EA Calendars
Send email to westgippslandzonesecretary@gmail.com with details of the date you want, and the type of event you wish to run. Where possible, we do not allow WGZ clubs to have clashing dates, to optimise entries. Where a clash may occur, we encourage the clubs involved to work together to come to a resolution.
Once your date is approved, the Zone Secretary will email you the list of inclusions that must be included in your entry form/flyer. At this stage you might like to “save the date” on whatever platform you will be accepting entries, and lodge the event on JustGo so it appears on the PCV calendar.
Email your completed entry form/flyer to westgippslandzonesecretary@gmail.com for approval.
Please also include the steps or plans you have in place to ensure you meet the Minimum Medical Standards as required by Pony Club Australia.
Once your entry form/flyer is approved, you may then begin advertising your event and accepting entries.
